Wellington Model Power Boat Club

This is a sanctioned NZMPBA event.

All competitors are required to be financial NZMPBA members on race day.

Offshore is run in 3 x 10 minute heats, if time allows a 20 minute final for all competitors left running. All heats and finals will count towards the final score.

Practice will be from 10 am until 10.30 then heats will commence.

A drivers briefing will be held to get everyones frequencies sorted out and to advise any site hazards and to outline the course to be run.

We usually throw in a couple of reverse heats just to keep everybody on their toes

There will be a catamaran only race (cat scrap) about the middle of the day and this will be a ten lap sprint race.

There will be barbecue lunch and cold drinks available as well.

Prize giving at the conclusion of racing.

Alternate venue in the event of bad weather will be the usual club meeting venue.
